Well 367 miles apart....
Been to each and BOTH are great.
Manitou Springs. Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods.......
Mesa Verde, Durango, Sliverton.......
Hard choice......but the train ride to Silverton wins for me. Base camp in Durango.
