We pay a gas tax to keep our roads in good repair. Oh, but wait, if you REALLY want a good road, then you need to pay MORE in terms of TOLLS.
I've always felt toll roads are just another scam. Yes, I use them, when convenient (not very often), but doesn't mean I like it or agree with them.
245 percent increase is ridiculous. Of course, they will rationalize it by saying 'but it's only $10 a trip'... who can't afford '$10'? or.. 'if you are an rv'er and you are worrying about $10, then you ought not to be on the road'.
I suspect the end dollar value is not the issue as much as the blatant jacking up of the cost.
