The problem isn't the dollar value, it is the amount of increase (it does vary, depending on axles and distance travelled) and the fact that they are cutting 400 full time and part time jobs and still raising tolls.
I agree with you 100% and as others have said if we keep sucking it up they'll keep doing it. They are kind of like bullies-until you fight back it will just keep happening. I don't head out the Pike very often-I'm much more apt to go north or south. NH & ME have raised their tolls some now that they are also going to electronic tolling but I don't think it's to the extent that MA has.
