Lots to see & do in all that territory. Knowing your interests, or places you have already been, or have never been but always wanted to see, would help with recommendations. Glacier, Yellowstone, the Black Hills & Badlands, the Lewis & Clark exploration trail, the Oregon & Mormon Trail routes and pioneer sites along the way, and so much more - can you narrow it down? Do you have a timeframe for the northern part of the route?
