Did 13,000 miles on Alaska trip in 2012 in 2008 Hitchhiker II. Suffered no damage at all, not even a cracked windshield on pickup. No flat tires. HOWEVER, I was careful to slow way-way down where frost heaves, uneven pavement were present.
