need overnight stop I 85 NOrth Carolina So. Virginia

DH and I going from Cheraw, SC up to York Pa and need an overnight stop (free if possible) along I 85 in northern NC/Southern Va. Any suggestions? 35'MH with toad. No hookups needed. Found 2 WalMa...

South Hill Va, exit 12 has a helmart with a huge area to the left side, RV's are frequently there, and there is a Cracker Barrel also. Cracker Barrel is a left turn after taking 12 B exit. The Big W is a left after 12A.
You also have the Virginia welcome center at the state line and I have seen folks overnighting at the two rest areas before you get to Petersburg. Mile post 33 and 56.
