- BmachExplorer IIThanks
- CroweExplorerBmach, the route Google maps gave you is the way we always go with the exception that we pick up 84 in central MA, towing or not. Just be aware that 78 is full of semis who cruise at a fairly high rate of speed. Go with the flow and you'll be just fine.
- BmachExplorer IIThanks for those routes but I am looking the quickest way there and back. I’m not towing anything . I should have been clearer.

X2^^. We usually cross the river at Newburgh on I-84 and stay WAY north of NYC. We also love driving down through the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area heading southwest out of Milford on US 209. We've done this as recently as October of this year with the rig in our signature.
