Route from Springfield MO to South Padre Island
Need advice about US 69 from Big Cabin OK to TX border. We don't like stop and go traffic, so are considering I-44 to OK city and South on I-35. Anyone travel those roads in recent few years? Thanks!

We made the trip from Jefferson City to Austin a while back. Highway 69 is the same as always, town after town. If you don’t like stop and go, head to highway 35
I35 from Denton TX thru Dallas can be quite a shock depending on time of day. Expect stop n go heavy traffic during rush hours
