OK, so new plan:
We've already been to Grand Canyon, Bryce & Zion so lets skip Utah.
Start in SF
Up Oregon hitting Crater Lake and St Helen
Glacier
Yellowstone/Teton
Devils Tower
Rushmore
Back through???
I'm still kinda clueless on how to plan this all and keep track of all the dates.
For example, say I start out from San Francisco on the morning of Jul 1st. How long should I drive the first day as first time RV driver in a 30' A class? Should I just stay the night and keep going in the morning or do I spend a day somewhere?
Also, how do the bigger parks handle RV's? If I camp at an RV park outside of Yellowstone, do I drive into the park or take shuttles? Is there parking for RV's in the parks etc'
It's a very daunting task to plan this thing. I'm starting to panic :)
