Yup, daunting task.
Question I have - are you pulling a tow vehicle (aka toad)to sightsee when you get places? This makes a huge difference in what you can and cannot do.
I would suggest starting with www.rvparkreviews to see out info on all the places you are going - best source for rv park info.
How far you drive each day is personal choice and will also be dictated by roads you are driving on. I would not go more than 100 miles or so first day. Lots to learn.
Etc.
Looking at your revised itinerary. We have been to all those places - some several times. I would definitely skip Rushmore (some 500 miles from Yellowstone or maybe much more depending where you stay there) that. OK, so there is Custer State Park as well. And Devils Tower. Whoopee.
And you are not going to the OR Coast? You are missing one of the finest places there is to see - we are going back there again this year. And so much more in OR - Columbia River Gorge is a must as well. And Silver Falls State Park.
Based on your revised I would change it to Crater Lake, north Oregon Coast, Mt. St. Helens, Columbia Gorge, Glacier, Yellowstone/Grand Teton and saving just a few days to get back as there is not much inbetween there and SF.
But you will need to make some decisions and make reservations - I made my reservations for Cannon Beach, OR a year in advance - will be there three weeks.
See www.LaurenBarbara.com the Wanderings link on the left and then look at pix of the places you and I have mentioned.
Good luck! Much to do.
