When we crossed into Maine this summer from New Brunswick, they didn't seem interested in anything except if we had fruits and vegetables. We had already read the website, and had eaten all our food that wasn't allowed. They came on board, opened the fridge, and a few drawers, and that was it. Crossing back into Canada was even less. We were stopped for less than a minute. Other than checking the passports, they didn't look at anything. We went to NFLD this summer. We only saw two moose in three weeks of being on the island. Last time we were there we only saw one. I don't know where they hide all these moose they are always talking about. There is hardly a tree big enough to hide a moose behind in half the province. Im glad we didn't see any while driving. NFLD is a spectacular place to visit. I wouldn't want to be there in the winter.
