The ferry to Labrador was just a couple of hours. it would have been a nice trip if it hadn't been cold and rainy.
One note of caution. We went on the ferry as Stand By, with no reservation, which wasn't a problem but when we tried to book the return trip online we discovered that a truck as big as ours is automatically classified as Commercial and the number of commercial trucks is limited on each crossing. all commercial spots were booked for 4 DAYS!
Hubby did some fast talking, had to show our receipt that said we werent designated Commerical on the original trip. They did let us go, but we almost got stuck there for days!
