If you say so. Just can't understand how some people feel in some way qualified to speak on topics they obviously know absolutely nothing about. How can anyone who has not been know anything about anything? A mystery to me all my life. But then we see this sort of thing every single day all over - know nothing people speaking about things they obviously know nothing about. So much information is fake it even makes the news. People will believe anything anyone tells them and then make it their own as though they are the ones who experienced it. Never been there - never done that - but I am now the world's foremost authority on topics I know nothing about. And they seem to have no idea how their behavior affects the low opinion others have of them.

Maybe if dental work wasn't so expensive people wouldn't have to go to another country.

I think people really should consider this is their health that can be destroyed before going there.

What possible reason could you have for thinking we do not get excellent care in Mexico? If you haven't been - and you did say you haven't - then we can only assume you know nothing. Hearsay? We have been going to Mexico for a great many years as have millions of others. We do actually know something about it. I am 72 years old and have been going to Mexico for well over 40 years. Still not one single concern about any adverse health effects of any kind. I think perhaps you get your info from fake news. Is there some reason you think no health care provider in the US never destroyed anyone's health?

Next time I go I will have to try to remember to take a camera to take pictures. Never even once occurred to me that a dentist office should be added to my list of places to photograph. What was I thinking?

I have not. I have seen the results in person from poor quality dental from Mexico. Everyone that has been there says how clean they are. I have shown what a modern Sterilization looks like, no one has posted what it looks like behind the scenes in Mexico. As I have said I don't care where people choose to get their dental work done but I think people really should consider this is their health that can be destroyed before going there.

Here is another Sterilization that I built that has the Ultrasonic to the right of the sink and Sterilizer to the left. Dirty on the right to clean on the left. On right regular trash 8" hole with sharps and red bag disposal right behind with dirty tray storage above. Clean trays are stored to the left of sink in upper cabinet on exposed plexi shelves.

Everyone that wants to go there have at it but be aware there are risks for sure!!!

Based on that statement my guess would be you have never been and actually know next to nothing about Mexico.

I will post web addresses below of clinics we have been to. You can see somewhat of what the look like. In one there are about 10 dentists around in a large sort of semi-circle room where everyone can see exactly what is going on with all procedures. In other words there are no "behind the scenes". We can see it all. I see the young woman going around with her sanitizing equipment constantly cleaning everything - a full time job. Nothing is left to chance. I have never seen this level of sanitizing in the US. It is standard procedure in Mexico. I continue to be amazed by what those who do not know Mexico think about it. Do you really think there are no risks involved in going to a dentist in the USA? Believe it or not there are many things about Mexico that are far more advanced both medically and technologically in Mexico than in the USA. It has never been a good idea to speak on topics you know nothing about.

Have you personally been behind the scenes?

You do know the restaurants are famous for using a Britta water filter pitcher without the filter for filling water glasses. What are the using to sanitize with?

What regulations do the Dentists have there for health?

Everyone that wants to go there have at it but be aware there are risks for sure!!!

We have been to several Mexican dentists over the years from Las Palomas south of Deming,NM to Valle de Juarez near Lake Chapala to San Miguel de Allende to Algodones near Yuma,AZ. Every office we have seen has been immaculate and the dentists all excellent with a high degree of care. As far as sanitary - each room is cleaned by a person whose sole job it is to clean and sanitize between patients. They use some sort of thin film like "Saran Wrap" but tinted blue to cover every knob on every cabinet and every surface anyone might touch. The use the latest technology and have the most modern facilities. I can't single out any one in particular in Nuevo Progresso as we have not yet had the occasion to go there. Lots of great medical professionals all over Mexico. Many people go to clinics in different parts of Mexico for excellent health care - including lots of "elective" surgery. We'll be back in Algondones very soon for another crown ($170US).
