NY 104 Through Oswego, NY

I've often recommended the Seaway Trail as a pleasant (and less expensive) alternative to the NY Thruway when crossing New York State.

While it is still far more scenic, a heads up on the section on NY 104 through Oswego. Lots of construction, including torn up pavement, flagged one lane sections, and some narrow areas. Only about a 2 -3 mile stretch, but not much fun...
