The F550 is under 10000 lbs. not by much but under. Will probably carry them just in case but don't plan to use em. If it starts snowing real bad I have a motel/hotel in mind. Truck carries 50 gallons and plan to have 2 5 gallon jugs of diesel so I can sleep in the truck with engine running and heat on.
The dogs back seat platform makes a nice bed. Dogs not making this trip.

thanks for the tips. I do own cold weather gear as I get into the mountains in AZ every winter. Hoodies are your friend to keep snow off the neck :{).
so have you Wa. guys heard any disturbing news on the weather for Sunday and Monday. Looks like I should be OK.
