- realterExplorerAlso might go north from Cheyenne. That's a fairly desolate strip of I 25, so probably not much to see??

Ah, been there I suspect. We did our maiden voyage with the Lance there a year ago. Great place to go without kids. - realterExplorerOne could spend several days at Pioneer Village. Much nicer than their 30 year old billboards that give a terrible impression.
- OldShuExplorerPioneer Village in Minden NE just off I80 is very interesting.
http://www.pioneervillage.org - romoreExplorer III-84 is not particularly scenic across southern Idaho unless you like potato fields. However, north from Boise to Lewiston is a beautiful trip. The highway crosses the Snake River very rugged country then climbs Whitebird hill, the site of a major battle between the army and Nez Perce. Alternatively, you could go north then west through Glacier NP. So much to see and do, you won't cover it all in one trip.

- EV2ExplorerDo not miss the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center by the Missouri River next to I29 in Sioux City, IA.
If you like larger museums, the Sioux City Public Museum in Sioux City downtown about a quarter of a mile off of I29 is another great np charge stop. The Sioux City art center is a well known stop very close by.
Sergeant Floyd grave and monument and Chief War Eagle grave and monument are also visible from the interstate. Across the river in South Sioux City, NE there is a very popular municipal campground along the river if you can afford an overnight stop there.
