Oregon coast September camping

We will be on the coast in September. Our trip was planned around the earliest date we could get one specific campsite at one state park. We have reservations for part of the trip and will continue to watch the reservation availability to see if we need to reserve others.

In September in the SP I would have reservations weekends, weekdays not so much, school is back in session.

With a truck camper and if you can pull in by 1pm at state parks, you'll get a site. We did even with our 40' motorhome in spring, summer and fall. There are also some nice national forest campgrounds along the coast. Have a great trip!

The closer to the beach the higher the need for reservations

With a pick-up camper, you will fit in any camp site. There are many camp grounds and private RV parks. During the weekend; depending on where you are, you might need a reservation.

Based on your previous comment sounds like if you do not have a space no biggie. I would just say that on the weekends a reservation is a solid idea. Enjoy
