It is far too hot to be taking your rig down into Death Valley this time of year. I suggest you leave your rig in Pahrump and take a day trip down to the DV visitor center. Take plenty of water and an ice chest full of ice with you :)
Then, for Bishop, go north out of Pahrump to Nevada 95 and north to Tonopah and then take 6 west. It will curve around to the south and into Bishop without taxing your MH too hard, and, as I recall, it's an interesting drive.
