Pahrump, nv to culver, or

Going to be going from Pahrump to Culvet, OR, north of Bend, in April.

Is there any route that is easier with a 40' DP with a toad. Would like to try to avoid long severe (over 6%) grades if that is even possible.

    We do that route all the time. Heading south it is usually Newport to Bend to Reno to Tonopah to either Pahrump or LV. Do the reverse going home. Breaking it up with those stops makes it a leisurely travel day.

    You can easily stay east of the Sierras and Cascades. With the mountains trending NS, the highways stay between them, and don't have long grades. Google Maps suggests (as fastest) US95 (more or less) to Oregon, then US20 west to Bend.
