Phoenix trip

I just drove it today. Smooth sailing all the way.

I did take Usery pass and north bush hwy and then AZ87 to get to Payson from Phoenix. These were great roads in better condition than most of the other roads on the way to Michigan.

Thanks for the info. We are leaving Apache Junction and finally heading home so this is what we will do to get up to I-40 and then MI. Was trying to avoid the multiple switchbacks if at all possible.

It's a good easy drive.

Some of the surface along Bush Hwy is a bit chopped up, but we've driven that road several times, and that is the way we escape Mesa northbound. AZ87 is fine.

A month ago there was a fair amount of construction along the Bush Hwy -- maybe it is better now, or maybe it's still choppy!

Looks fine to me.
