Hello everyone,
Driving a class C Motorhome from Provo, Utah to Jackson Hole and the directions say to take the 189 to the 16 to the 89 through Coalville, Bear River and Cokeville. How are the roads? Where are good places to camp along the way. Thanks for your help?
Let me know if there is a better route.
That's a good way to go.
If it were my trip, I'd detour a little to the east from Evanston and take 189 up to Kemmerer. It's not that far out of the way and it's supposed to be fascinating up there. Kemmerer has all sorts of places to look for gems and fossils.
Google Maps says it's only 23 miles out of the way.
The last time we visited the Tucson Gem, Mineral, and Fossil show, many of the interesting things we saw were from Kemmerer, WY.
