provo, utah

I ask about driving from Amarillo to vegas some time back and appreciate the help.
Now I would like to know about directions to provo, Utah from Amarillo. I got a new job today and would like to get there with the least mountains. Should I go west through new mexico or north to I=80.thanks to all.

    I'd try to avoid highway 6 if possible. It's a bad road. Lots of heavy truck traffic and drivers that can't wait and pass on blind curves and hills. There are a lot of accidents on that stretch.
    It's longer but better off taking I70 to 89 to 28 to I15 and up.

    Question? Will the suggested route past I 70, 6 / 191 going north to I 15 have any tough mountain passes for a 45 foot bus towing a 4 door Jeep? I will be going from the Breckenridge Colorado area to Park City. The suggested route would be shorter than my usual route if it would work.

    US 491(N) to Monticello, UT
    US 191(N) to I-70(W)
    US 6(W)/191(N) to I-15(N) at Spanish Fork, UT
