Question on which is best bridge to cross SF Bay

Have to go to Palo Alto in July...Will be coming west on I-80 to the 880 and need to cross the bay on either the San Mateo-Hayward bridge or the Dumbarton bridge to the 101.... Any best choice here...

As 'MFinCA' said, the Dumbarton is the best choice, but try to avoid major commute hours; coming west, that would be between 5-10 a.m. (more or less!)
