Refused entry with a truck & camper
Had a call this morning from Mike & Terri, they are being refused entry with a truck camper on a 1 ton. My mexican partner is trying to deal with it via phone. Not sure if the issue is the truck bein...

Briansue: Maybe some one will be able to expand on this post. I was in Mexico when the first Hologramed TIP's were issued. There were some specific rules on the type of vehicles that were allowed. Prohibited were duallies, 1 ton and trucks with more than 8 lug nuts ( or maybe it was 6). This was around 1995. I cannot vouch for the exact year. The CG manager had a book he got from a Papelaria. It was published by the Gov. and had all the current vehicle importation rules. This is what you need to see the exact ruling. It was my understanding that they updated the book as rules changed.
