Moisheh -- This is not a political discussion; no one is kicking anyone down the road for voting for someone they don't like. We are speaking of a "process" and reminding you if you are a US citizen that you are not an inconsequential person in your own country and this is not an inconsequential problem happening on US soil if there is a pattern developing for a lengthy period of time along the US/Mexico border (by the way, on the US side of th border, the US government does have jurisdiction, and US soil is where you are sitting because Mexico won't let you cross for one reason or the other.) I cannot speak for other countries as I do not have enough first-hand experience as to how their citizens may operate with respect to their governments. However, as a taxpayer in the US, you actually pay a government employee to conduct diplomacy with another country. With what we are discussing regarding border crossings, we need to put that employee to work. At this point, we need to have that diplomatic foreign service employee find out what problem is going on at the border from his or her Mexican government counterpart. We all certainly know the "effect" of the problem which has been going on for three consecutive seasons. We just need Mexico to identify the problem and attempt to solve it. If it is not solved once identified, then it is up to the State Department to list the identified problem in their routine publication for all tourists wishing to visit Mexico to read, and then we all continue with (what was it you said) our "life experiences."
By the way, this past June, we had wonderful life experiences in Cuba and stayed with a Cuban family. For a week, we had a nice Cuban gentleman (now our friend; he says "frienemy" Ha!) show us all over Havana and outlying areas. All this was made possible by the diplomacy of the Catholic Church and by the Canadian government putting together a meeting in Cuba between Raul Castro and Barack Obama. Government/political process/diplomacy/life experiences all go hand in hand.
