Renting a place to stay instead of camping?
I read in many post that some people are now renting an apartement or condo or else instead of bringing their rig to Mexico. Is it because it cost less this way or is it just because it is easier? ...

We drive our truck down,have bins filled with household goods we deem necessary to be comfortable in a Mexican bungalow.We stay at an old Mexican bungalow in Manzanillo @ 9800 pesos per month.There is a pool and nice garden area,block from the beach,walking distance to the little town,and bus out front.It is old and not fancy but suits us.Very few gringos come and go but with airbnb he has increased his gringo traffic,hoping price doesn't go up to much.There are other such places here.
We then go to Lo De Marcos which is 45 minutes north of PV,there are many Mexican places to stay there for reasonable peso monthly rate.
The couple next to us said they had always gone to PV but was finding it to expensive to be able to stay for the winter as did another couple when we were in Manzanillo.So depending on what you can afford and what you can live with but you need to come and look is what I think.This works for us.
