Renting a place to stay instead of camping?
I read in many post that some people are now renting an apartement or condo or else instead of bringing their rig to Mexico. Is it because it cost less this way or is it just because it is easier? ...

Kidoo, one of the main reasons (older) travellers from Canada to Mexico will give up driving the RV is because of huge travel medical insurance required for the entire vacation just because one must travel thru the United States. When I say huge ,I refer to 5 and over 7 thousand cdn for two with existing problems. Check it out.Now if one flys direct to Mexico , that cost is mitigated.
