I see you're from Florida. So it won't be anything like Florida. Highway 120 climbs to right at 10,000 feet at the Tioga Pass. The road is narrow in spots, and very windy, but easily doable in a motorhome. I've taken my DP over it several times with a Dodge Dakota toad and I did not unhook. Just used the jake brake and it was fine. If you've never been over Tioga Pass, I suggest making an entire day out of the trip just getting from Yosemite Valley to 395. There are some great sights to see along the way.
Last time I went to Salt Lake about a year ago I took 120 over Tioga and then Highway 6 all the way through Nevada. Highway 50 is known as The loneliest road in the nation, but it is an expressway compared to Highway 6. I drove for an hour between seeing other cars. I thought it was a great drive.
