I spoke with friends who drove it on Saturday. The area in northern Sinaloa through Sonora is bone rattling and will beat the******out of your vehicles.
This is from people who have driven it many times in the past based upon their trip last week. Travel by road in Mexico has become horrible and expensive. More and more people are preferring to fly to a location and rent rather than take their RVs.
On the other hand they tell me the Mazatlan bypass is open and beautiful
