Road (highway 46/41) from Paso Robles to 1-5
Is this route a good one for travel with a long 5th wheel trailer? The GPS suggests we drive north along 101 to San Jose and then link up with 1-5. We want to avoid any twisting mountain driving.

I like Hwy. 46 east to I-5. Hwy. 46 to 41 is quicker but has some hills and curves. Hwy 101 to Hwy. 152 would be my second choice to avoid driving in the San Jose area and traffic.
