Road to Creel - Copper Canyon
Hi, I would like to know what is the best route to go to Creel, near Copper Canyon. There is a big campground in this little town. Where would I cross the border, how safe is it to take these route...

There was a really nice KOA in town - it's changed hands a few times and is now reported to be sort of derelict.

What a shame - we camped here in 1999 - the campground had a bar, laundry, gift store and nice spacious grounds. It was expensive and very few RVers visited Creel - at least not enough to keep the campground open.
Currently it sounds like none of the hookups work, water is available from one of the buildings. Back in 1999 some of the hotels offered RV parking but it looked limited to smaller rigs.
