There are logging and industrial roads all through Newfoundland which are built so the hauling trucks can boot it down the road to deliver their product @ 100 km per hour.
Ask about the back way to Woody Point from Corner Brook. It's beautiful and it gives access to lots of cottages owned by Newfoundlanders.
