The places that come to mind from several of our family trips back east when I were your kids ages.
> we hit several of the Civil War battlefields
> Times Square in New York city, Statue of Liberty
> Every memorial in Washington DC... the capitol building, Smithsonian, Whitehouse,Library of Congress...
> Niagra Falls
> A maple syrup farm in Vermont
> Mt Rushmore
> Yellowstone
> Petrified Forest
> Grand Canyon
> Brice & Zion Canyons
are a few that stick out....
