Road trip through the United States of Horror

Cool! I like the idea of 'theme' trips. Although I probably wouldn't choose the horror theme, I've often thought of others it would be fun to follow around the country. BTW, both the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park and Timberline Lodge in Oregon are well worth seeing. The Shining is a favorite of mine, possibly because I spent a lot of time as a kid in the Colorado mountains.
