Road trip to Alaska article in paper

Thank you, AKSilverEagle......I can understand taking that many parts for an older rig. I agree, the newer models of anything are harder (or impossible) for the owners to fix. My husband has worked on cars, motorcycles and trucks since he was a kid.......but can't fix my daughter's car. :( And we live where we have snow and are familiar with frost heave -- though not as bad as in Alaska. We, too, question the sanity of people that drive like bats out of hexx to get somewhere.....:) :)
