Funny that you mention Torklift. While doing research into possibly doing some mild offroading with a TC, several people recommended Happijac since the Torklift would be too rigid ... Guess we'll find out if we chose wisely when we get there. :)
I believe it was the people at Four Wheel Campers who convinced me that Happijac is the way to go for off roading with a TC.
We're paying a visit to the Dodge dealer tomorrow morning so we'll ask about the risks of running old-fashioned diesel (non ULSD) and the possibility to remove some of the emissions parts ... thanks!
Based on my internet research, it seems that several countries in central America have ULSD available, albeit not in every gas station; mostly in the ones in or near cities.
