We did a Route 66 trip from Missouri to California this summer. We stopped to explore Santa Fe, Sedona, Grand Canyon, Yosemite and more. We used The Route 66 Adventure Handbook as a guide and found lots of interesting little places to stop on the way. We, by no means, hit all of the sites, nor did we follow much of the original road, but we saw so many cool places that were chock full of fun history. It was an amazing trips!
I blogged about it here:
Travels with BirdyMy next post is going to be about all of the fun, roadside attractions. Where else can you see a leaning water tower, a dinosaur statue next to a teepee, a modern-day trading post, spray-painted Cadillacs and more?
