Just got back from doing the route from California to Oklahoma City, Ok. Plenty of RV parks along the way. We did take my wife's Tesla instead of the RV. Most of the towns are better with the tow car. Winslow, AZ and seeing the statute is best with a car.
The books are written from Chicago to LA. Traveling in reverse was difficult.
