RV'ing from Massachusetts to Disney in February

Hi! My husband, mother, 2 children and I are hitting the road for our first long trip in our new (to us) RV in February. We are leaving the Worcester, MA area and traveling to Disney World in FL over the February vacation week. We three adults are disagreeing as to which route will be best to take. 1 wants to go through NY over the GW Bridge. 1 wants to go by way of the TappenZee. The 3rd just wants to avoid congestion at any cost.

Any suggestions on a route to take (or not take) that will best?

Thanks!
  • Traveling in Feb you will have to consider the weather also not just the route and if your just going for 8 days total including travel its not going to leave a lot of time in Disney
  • 84 through Hartford to Pa. Down through Shenandoah Valley. Then pick your route to Florida. Avoid NY,NJ,Baltimore and DC . A bit longer, but much more enjoyable. I've done it several times with MH and a TC pulling a boat. I have also made the mistake of 95 all the way down. Last half is fine. First part (Worcester to south of Washington) is inhabited by the worst drivers on the planet.
