Just wanted to update everyone....
we stayed in vernon for 2 nights at a passport america park ($20/night) for 30amp fuh..Swan Lake RV Resort. Be careful, as there was a park named Swan Lake Campground that was no where near as nice..the resort was immaculate and right on the lake...great stop!
we decided to skip Salmon arms because we took a ride from vernon in the toad to the campground we thought we'd stay in...Viewpoint RV. well when we saw the approach we decided our 42' coach would not like the steep approach. so we skipped it and went directly to Clearwater to visit Wells Grey PP.
we're at the KOA (nice, wooded but big sites with 50amp fuh) right on the road that leads into the park.
thanks for all the recommendations to the golf and rv resort, but it is 22 miles into the park. since fuel is so dang expensive here and since we get approx 5miles to the gallon, we decided to stay closer to our route.
we'll go into the park tomorrow to view the campground, though.
next stop---prince george...
