Santa Rosa NM to Carrizozo NM Hwy54
Heading to Ruidoso with 5th wheel in signature in a couple of weeks. Is 54 a reasonably good highway for towing? I realize there are not a lot of options but I have never gotten bad route advice here...

Thanks everyone. The tip on 380 to 37/48 matches what I found on Satellite images. Looks like I top off the Diesel in Vaughn and head south from there. I appreciate the insight. We've only been to Albuquerque but never farther south. Can't wait to see some new terrain. Trying some Hatch Chili enhanced food should enhance that a lot.
