Hi,
The only Abbotcy in North America is at Muenster, SK. St. Peter's Abby
There is a town clock that is weight driven. The last of its kind. I think http://www.humboldtmuseum.ca/
There is a small country church with an elaborately painted ceiling. I think it may be Russian Orthodox or Ukrainian Orthodox.
There is a scenic highway on the north shore of the Qu'Apelle Valley lakes.
There is a stations of the cross at Lebrett, SK
The one of the saltiest lakes in the world is near Watrous, SK at Manitou Lake. There is a heated pool and an excellent restaurant. The largest radio transmitter in Canada is just a little East of Watrous. Tours are sometimes available.
There is a lovely town park with a swinging bridge in Wolsley, SK
