We are planning a day trip to the petroglyphs at Herschel, Saskatchewan http://www.ancientechoes.ca. Another site to take in is the Crooked trees near Hafford, Saskatchewan. On one side of the road the Aspen are all deformed and crooked the other side they are perfectly normal http://www.tourismsaskatchewan.com/travel-information/product-detail&listing=3&opid=103175. My wife and I have for years visited many Saskatchewan sites. Our only rule when doing these trips is to not eat in a chain restaurant (we haven't had a bad meal yet).
