Savannah GA, Tybee Island
Looking to RV to Tybee Island next week. 2 routes suggested by maps from Greenville, SC runs me through Savannah. Any issues going thru Savannah?

You will not have any issues. If you get off in SC at exit 5 you can come in via US17 and cross the Talmadge bridge, take the first exit and follow the signs or your GPS to Tybee. Bay street through town is not a problem, big trucks make the route all the time. The end of Bay street to President street is currently closed with construction but the detour is clearly marked and plenty of room for you.
I drove out there last week to check on my aunt's beach house that is right across the street from the campground. Plenty of class a motorhomes and trailers taking the same route.
