The logical way would be down the gorge to Pendleton over to Enterprise and then down to Jospeh, OR
But do you realize how many fires are burning out there??
If you are going into that area... at this time... be aware that there are not a lot of roads back in there. And from Enterprise north to Lewiston is a twisty two lane paved road... with switch backs that will have you hanging onto your steering wheel. Nothing steep to climb but lots of down if you don't stay on the road.
