Snohomish to Reno: Hookups recommendations
We're going to the Fri., Sept. 5th Cougs vs. Nevada game in Reno. We're leaving home Tuesday, 9/2 and arriving Reno Thurs., 9/4. Our objective is to get there as quickly as possible without driving more than 300 miles/day. Route: I-5 to CA89/CA44 to Susanville and US395 to Reno.
Another objective is to be off the highways and the campgrounds over Labor Day weekend...otherwise we would have left several days earlier and not have this rush to get to Reno.
If someone knows a faster, easier route from here to there let me know. I've done US97 through eastern Oregon to Reno before and I know I-5 is faster for the purposes of this trip. We may return home on 97 instead.
We need recommendations for hookups in (1) Eugene first night, (2)Yreka 2nd night and (3) Reno for 4-6 nights. (Moderator: move this to "Parks" section if you want.)
