Other than the gun questions, those are pretty normal things to ask. We've been asked some other random questions like who is your favorite sports team and the like. They are ensuring you are truly who you say you are. Try crossing the border when you have THREE people in the car that work for well-known US defense contractors. That piques interest big time!
