A cell phone app is not dependable (cell phone doesn't cover every were) what does someone use. I have seen signs along Freeways with a D in the middle of a picture of a pump. But they are only along Freeways not Highway. And there may not be any truck stops along your way. Is there a GPS that would have this information? Also does the book Next Stop cover non-freeways?

If it's really only 10% which I seriously question as being accurate, then IMO your town is ATYPICAL and getting diesel should not be a problem in 99% of the locales thru out the U.S. Just use "Gas Buddy" and select the diesel option and stop worrying.
