As the title says you can now get diesel at some Costco stations. I have not doubt that this will become available at more stations in the future. This link shows the current and future locations. I would expect that just like their gasoline they will be very cost competitive.

The way Costco is laid out here intentionally it seems no way a large MH could get in or out.They have propane at good prices and hose for vehicles but you cannot maneuver a Mh to it they way it is laid out. If the lot was semi empty it might be possible but I would have to look at it again.Cabelas next door has parking for RVS.

Prescott, AZ also has propane.The only problem with getting diesel in a MH at Costco is usually their fueling areas are a little cramped and getting a 40' DP in with all of the fuel traffic is just about impossible unless you go at some really odd hours. I'll usually swing by the Prescott Costco for Diesel first. If it's too crowded as usual, I go on down the road to Sam's Club that has a better layout and isn't nearly as crowded. Almost all of the Sam's have diesel though I've seen a few that don't.I find it's a better deal to get my diesel at Fred's. Buy $2 - $300 worth of groceries a month and get 20 - 30 cents off per gallon on the first 35 gallons. After that you get 3 cents off per gallon which puts them in close competition to Costco.Bill

Might as well do both with one stop and they both usually have large areas. DW does the shopping while I do the filling......Bill

6.7 tow rig didn't complain about the price of fuel, but this is why you can't take a lot of people seriously when they complain about the price of fuel. By my brother's house in Hazel Dell, WA there are two stations across a small road from each other. There's usually a $.25 to $.29 difference in price between the two stations. The higher priced station seems to get just as much business because people are too lazy to put on their signal and cross the road.......

The problem that I found with Arco is that they changed from cash/debit to debit/credit with out any notices, so that when I thought I was cutting a fat hog last time I filled the MH with a bit over 80 gallons, it actually cost me more than if I had bought it across the street at Safeway.
Oh well,such is life.

6.7 tow rig didn't complain about the price of fuel, but this is why you can't take a lot of people seriously when they complain about the price of fuel. By my brother's house in Hazel Dell, WA there are two stations across a small road from each other. There's usually a $.25 to $.29 difference in price between the two stations. The higher priced station seems to get just as much business because people are too lazy to put on their signal and cross the road.......

Agreed. And many are designed in such a way that it prevents longer rigs from easily getting in or out of the pump island area. Safeway does the same thing.

Here in W. Michigan the 2 Costco have easy access to the pumps but the one closest to Holland usually has the highest prices in the area. They don't have lines very often. When I travel Costco & Sam's club are my first choices.

Like others, I try my local Costco hours before the store itself opens and the conditions at the gas pumps are a lot better.

And on regular grade gas they are usually 2 octane better than everyone else around here (and most weeks are equal or better on price).

One of the 2 costco's in Vancouver, WA are installing diesel pumps as i write this. As far as the local prices go, they are pretty much in line with ARCO. However, I have a corporate membership which gives me a 4% rebate on fuel. At $3.00 per gallon, that represents a true cost of $2.88. Not a bad deal, although who knows what will happen when costco/AE get divorced.
