We went last year. The Alaska Hwy. is always going have some problems, nature of the beast. We followed the advice shared here by others, go slow, watch for the flags, wiggly center lines and skid marks they are a clear indicator of bad spots.
Last summer was pretty dry so our journey was probably better than Summer's where they have lots of rain. Weather will make it interesting all by itself, but it's
well worth the trip.
Just remember take your time, drive under existing conditions and watch out for the other guy.
